Power Generation

In thermal power stations, treatment chemicals are injected into the boiler feed mate in small doses or low rates of injection. The feeding is performed by means of small capacity middle and high-pressure dosing pumps specially designed for the individual applications.

Doses may include • Phosphate dosing, done to prevent scale formation in boiler tubes and to maintain pH value to prevent corrosion as well to avoid silica carry over by steam • Oxygen scavenger • Ammonia scavenger • Amine (neutralizes the carbonic acid formed in the condensate) • Biocide.

SEKO's product of pumps ensures both precision and long term reliability both in terms of duration of constant use as well as chemical compatibility and where appropriate conforms to both API 674 and API 675 standards
